Amish Amulet Sign, Bird Welcome Board That Brings Good Luck

Wilkum means welcome in German. The pattern of the birds called Distelfink (goldfinch) facing each other, stars, and leaves is cute!

This welcome board has traditionally been displayed by the Pennsylvania Amish in their homes, gardens, and barns as a symbol to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck.

There is a hole in the center of the board, so insert nails or pins into it to decorate.
