Florenza-Golden Bird Pillbox
A vintage box with a realistic yet very cute little bird. The top of the body is a lid, and when you turn it over, there is a magnet and a small tong attached to it, making it a very rare item.
At the time, this pill box was meant to hold saccharin tablets, but it was up to the next owner to decide what to put inside. Use it to store incense or as a practical and stylish interior accessory.
There is a stamp of FLORENZA © on the inside of the bird’s body. Florenza is a brand name started in 1948 by The Dan Kasoff Company, a jewelry manufacturer founded in New York in 1937. It was named after the founder and designer’s wife, Florence. It closed in 1981.
Many of Florenza’s products are influenced by Victorian design, and all of them are known for their high quality.This product is no exception, and is heavy and wonderful. It’s an object.
