The petals are moonstones that look like fresh moon drops, and the motif is a plum-like flower with a lovely red, faceted garnet in the center. Madevintage brooch.
The three flower twigs have an asy mmetrical design, so it’s fun to sit in front of the mirror and think about which angle to place and how to attach them. It is a collection of Nate Waxman, the founder and designer of Swoboda, and is an unused dead stock item in excellent condition.
Swoboda‘s Vintage brooches are not cut jewellery, but colorful natural stones that have just been polished, and wonderful natural motifs such as birds, flowers, and insects. Known for its design.
It was founded in Los Angeles in 1956 and continued until 1979.
