Danecraft-12K Gold Filled-Pearl Wild Grapes Brooch

Three gold leaves, three pearl fruits. A vintage wild grape brooch with an elegant and beautiful design of nature. The leaves have a hollow center and are three-dimensional. The surface has a fine dot texture and has a matte finish, but only the edges remain, giving it a glossy shine.

DANECRAFT is engraved on the back of the brooch. Danecraft is a jewelry brand that was founded in Rhode Island in 1934 by the son of the Primavera family, an Italian jeweler who had served royalty and aristocrats as clients since the 17th century, when they immigrated to the United States. He is known as the originator of American costume jewelry, a technique that was used in fine jewelry.

Gold filled is more than 100 times thicker than regular gold plating (gold coating), and because it is bonded with heat, it is durable and difficult to peel off, and its color and texture are comparable to solid gold. In Western Europe, it is often seen in high-quality antique jewelry and vintage accessories with high design.
