An antique brooch with a sapphire blue motif and a ladybug-like insect motif based on a jet black metal called Japaned.
The body is made of large rhinestones with a slightly metallic reflection. Ladybug wings surround it.
The feather part is very elaborate, with four prong-set rhinestones connected to the center of the jet-black metal frame, and what’s more, they are in two tiers.
The back of the brooch is engraved with WARNER. Warner is a jewelry manufacturer founded in New York in 1953 and continued until 1971.
This is a somewhat rare brand that is highly praised for the quality of its rhinestones and the craftsmanship in its jewelry making, but this brooch has a personality and presence that makes sense.
In Japan, the ladybug is called a ladybug, an insect that heads toward the sun, and in the United States, it is called a ladybug in English, and is a lucky symbol for women that is said to bring good luck wherever it goes. It is a popular motif that has been loved for a long time in vintage accessories from all over the world.
