A gorgeous vintage costume jewelry brooch with a large amber glass cabochon held in place by prongs shaped like a crown. It has a dome-shaped coat of arms design with a bulge in the center.
With brighter colored navete-shaped rhinestones, subdued antique gold leaves and filigree on the base, the whole item is finished in chic autumn colors.
Glass cabochon has a natural, vintage texture that resembles a stone with inclusions inside, and is deep and wonderful.
The back of the brooch is engraved with REGENCY. REGENCY is a New York collector’s brand that is popular for its bold designs and large-sized glass. It existed from the 1950s to the 1970s.
