A vintage brooch depicting a blue bird, said to bring happiness, flying while looking at the pearl moon. The bean-shaped gold and the curly gold may represent the trajectory of the bluebird’s flight and the wind.

This item has a beautiful glassy cobalt blue like cloisonné ware, and the details of the feather pattern that can be seen through are very beautiful.

While most jewelry is 12K gold filled, this brooch is 14K gold filled. The back of the brooch is engraved with the word WELLS. Wells is a brand of American jewelry manufacturer Wells Jewelart Co., and is said to have continued until the 1970s.
