Jelly Belly’s stomach is a large cabochon of rose quartz, moss green jade, and its round eyes are a slightly purple-red rhodolite garnet. Beautiful gold feathers with delicate line design and texture. This is a vintage brooch made by Swoboda with a very artistic art nouveau style insect motif.
Rhodolite garnet is a purple garnet, and is a high-class stone among garnets.
An original brooch produced by Swoboda. This is valuable unused dead stock from the collection of Nate Waxman, the founder and designer of Swoboda. This item is in excellent condition with beautiful 24 carat gold plating. There is a SWO stamp on the back indicating that it is made by Swoboda.
Swoboda‘sVintage Brooch is known for its colorful use of polished natural stones, rather than its ‘typical’ cut gemstone jewelry, and its wonderful designs with natural motifs such as birds, flowers, and insects.
It was founded in Los Angeles in 1956 and continued until 1979.
It is said that engravings began to be engraved in 1966, and jewelry made before that time did not have engravings.
It is in excellent condition with beautiful 24 carat gold plating.
Jade is the birthstone of May. Guardian stone for the Year of the Rabbit, Taurus, Gemini, Aquarius, and Pisces. As a power stone, it has the meaning of amulet, talisman, patience, harmony, leap forward, health, longevity, happiness, etc., and it has been called a “magic stone” in the world since ancient times.
