Swoboda-Natural Stone Green Lion Vintage Brooch [Mint]

Her face is a large piece of jade, her green mane is a peridot, and her body is a mellow light blue amazonite. Her eyes are turquoise. A small pearl at the tip of its tail. A gorgeous and cute lion deadstock (unused) vintage brooch made of blue to green natural stone.

The back of the brooch is engraved with SWOBODA INC., indicating that it is made by Swoboda.

Swoboda is not a ‘typical’ cut gemstone jewelry, but a colorful use of polished natural stones, often featuring natural objects such as birds, flowers, and insects. It is known for its wonderful designs with motifs. It was founded in Los Angeles in 1956 and continued until 1979.

It is said that engravings began to be added in 1966, and jewelry and accessories made before that time are not engraved.
