Swoboda: Natural Stones – Flower Acorn Vintage Brooch [Mint]

$ 99.00

A vintage brooch with an acorn made of amazonite, a natural stone with a bluish green color and whitish marble pattern, wearing a flower crown.

The Swoboda logo is engraved on the back of the brooch. This item is from the collection of Nate Waxman, the founder and designer of Swoboda, and is in excellent condition as it is an unused dead stock item.

The slightly pinkish orange petals are carnelian. In the center, a small turquoise bead echoes the color of the Amazonite, creating a wonderfully artistic color harmony unique to mature and cute natural stones.

Swoboda‘sVintage Brooch is known for its colorful use of polished natural stones, rather than its ‘typical’ cut gemstone jewelry, and its wonderful designs with natural motifs such as birds, flowers, and insects.

It was founded in Los Angeles in 1956 and continued until 1979.
