Rose And Daisy Natural History Intaglio Glass Brooch

An antique brooch made using a technique called reverse curved glass intaglio, in which flowers are carved from the back of a glass cabochon and the reliefs are painted. As if nostalgic time has been captured in glass, the vividness of the flowers from that time has been preserved.
