Metlox-Love Bird Pottery Salt & Pepper/Spice Case
A set of salt and pepper shakers with a cute painted pattern of a pair of love birds, flowers and vines, and a cute shape. There are two lovebirds each, and they are all lovey-dovey.
There is a METLOX logo on the lid of the loading/unloading port on the back side. Metrox is an American vintage collectible pottery brand, and in the United States they even publish specialized books for collectors. Founded in Manhattan Beach, California in 1927, it reached its heyday in the 1950s and 1960s, and closed its history in 1988.
You can use it however you like, but the one with two holes is for salt, and the one with three holes is for pepper.
