Krementz-K14 Gold-Forget-Me-Not Pearl Cameo Brooch

Forget-me-not = A lovely vintage brooch with a motif of forget-me-not, a fleeting small light blue flower with the flower language of “don’t forget me.” The leaves with veins are painted in a refreshing green color, the petals are decorated with Forget Me Not Blue enamel paint, and the heart of the flower is decorated with pearls, like a cameo in a delicate gold oval frame. This is a very elegant and wonderful item.

The brooch pin is engraved with Krementz. Forget-me-nots are a long-standing motif in Krementz’s jewelry, along with roses.

Krementz was founded in 1866 as a fine jewelry manufacturer, and was a popular brand sought after by famous boutiques and fashion department stores in the 1950s and 1960s.

In the 1980s, we produced a wide range of jewelry ranging from $25 to $750,000, and from the 1990s onward, the company was sold to several jewelry companies, including Tiffany & Co. and Goldman. Currently, as Richard Krementz Gemstones, he creates jewelry using high quality gemstones such as sapphires and emeralds, as well as 18k gold and platinum.

Gold filled is more than 100 times thicker than regular gold plating (gold coating), and because it is bonded with heat, it is durable and difficult to peel off, and its color and texture are comparable to solid gold. In Western Europe, it is often seen in high-quality antique jewelry and vintage accessories with high design.
