Goldette-Fourstick Basket Brooch
An antique brooch with a design that looks like four stick pins peeking out from a basket. The sticks are, from the left, a rhinestone flower on a leaf with seed beads embedded in it, a heart-shaped faceted cut glass motif in the center of a crimson ruby color, a lovely Victorian-style pansy with coral beads, and a turquoise seed bead. It is a tulip-shaped flower with embedded leaves and seed beads.
The basket’s weave and overall shape are three-dimensional, and the bee with the emerald green rhinestones as the focal point is shining♪ Although it is small, it is full of details that will make you want to look at it.
This brooch with a stick pin motif is Goldette’s signature jewelry. Some items are not engraved, but this item has an oval plate with the Goldette logo engraved on the back of the brooch.
Goldette is an American costume jewelry brand founded in New York in 1958, and is said to have continued until around 1977.
