Givre Glass Leaf Wreath/Brooch

An artistic and original vintage brooch with Givre glass cabochons and beads arranged into a leaf wreath.

The marquise-shaped Givre glass is a crystal clear pale apple juice colored glass with rock sugar colored glass in it, and the surface is uneven like a stone, and the bead has a similar color scheme, but slightly Dark eyes. The whitish parts have a polarized moonglow color similar to moonstone.

Usually in this style, a wire is passed through a holed bead and set, but the bead part is wrapped in four plate-like clasps.

The leaves are greenish lemon yellow and white, a color not seen in modern plants. Although it is easy to miss due to the meticulous design, small but beautiful amber rhinestones are held in place by prong sets between the gibre glass and the leaves, giving them a soft shine.
