Danecraft-12K Gold Filled-Large Faceted Tiger Eye Circle Brooch

A beautiful vintage brooch with a flat top and a large amber stone with repeated triangular cuts on the sides and a deep gold shine.

Tiger Eye is a natural stone power stone that is said to have the power to increase luck in work and money. The cabochon in this brooch has a beautiful streak-like pattern (châtoyancy effect) that spreads out and shines gold in the brown stone depending on the light angle and the viewing angle. It’s appearing in the middle of nowhere, and it’s mysterious.

These types of opaque natural stone jewelry often have spherical cabochons, so they have a slightly unusual design and are wonderful.

DANECRAFT is engraved on the back of the brooch. Danecraft is a jewelry brand that was founded in Rhode Island in 1934 by the son of the Primavera family, an Italian jeweler who had served royalty and aristocrats as clients since the 17th century, when they immigrated to the United States. He is known as the originator of American costume jewelry, a technique that was used in fine jewelry.

Gold filled is more than 100 times thicker than regular gold plating (gold coating), and because it is bonded with heat, it is durable and difficult to peel off, and its color and texture are comparable to solid gold. In Western Europe, it is often seen in high-quality antique jewelry and vintage accessories with high design.
