The brand names are “Co” by the two founders, Emanuel Cohen, and “Ro” by Gerald Rorenberg. It comes from Founded in 1901, the company name was changed to Coro Inc. in 1943. Production in America continued until 1979 and in Canada until 1998.
Designer and director Adolf Katz, who joined the company in 1924, quickly led the company to rapid growth as America’s largest costume jewelry company. Along with Trifari, it is a manufacturer that produces a wide range of products from affordable to luxury lines in terms of quality and design, and is also a brand that is easy to collect.
Corocraft, launched in 1937, and Vendome, launched in 1944, are the company’s luxury brand lines.
