Avon
Avon’s predecessor was the California Perfume Company, founded in 1886. The Avon brand name has been in use since 1928. Avon is still known for its door-to-door sales of cosmetics, but in 1971 it entered the costume jewelry industry. From 1980 to 1984, Tiffany & Co. was a subsidiary of Tiffany.
Avon also produced many pieces of jewelry in collaboration with famous jewelry brands and designers, such as Krementz, Kenneth J. Lane (K.J.L.), TRIFARI, Nina Ricci, and Elizabeth Taylor.
