Puss in Boots This is not a Puss in Boot, but a vintage Christmas brooch of a cat in a stocking waiting for a Christmas present. The socks hanging in the room looked so warm, and they were filled with toys, so I guess she couldn’t help but get into them. Her hands playing with the pearl beads are so cute! !
The kitten’s face is an antique gold color with black carvings, her eyes are sapphire blue rhinestones, holly and cane, and her socks are beautiful enamel.
There is an ART stamp on the back. ART is a costume jewelry brand based in New York, but not much is known about its history and details, and it is said to have existed from the 1940s to the late 1960s.
A rare collector’s item that is still beautiful (and forever cute!) after all these years. This book piece is also featured in American costume jewelry books.
