An antique blue bird brooch has been considered a symbol of happiness since ancient times. It is thought to be an antique swallow brooch because of the two-part tail known as the swallowtail.
When I see antique brooches with bird motifs, I am always reminded of the story of “The Happy Prince” and my heart flutters.
The cerulean blue color makes you think of the shallow sea, which is unique to this kind of antique brooch. Delicate craftwork is condensed into this very small brooch, with a silver-like metallic sizzle and shadows created by the feather pattern on the back.
The brooch pin clasp is C-shaped, which is seen on old items such as Victorian antique jewelry. Since it is not a rotating clasp, it will be delivered with silicone parts to prevent it from falling.
