A vintage brooch made by Swoboda that depicts a sparrow chick with its wide open mouth that looks like it’s about to jump out even though it can’t fly.
This is an unused deadstock brooch from the collection of Nate Waxman, the founder and designer of Swoboda.
The feathers are jade with a feather pattern engraved on them. Her eyes are a cute red garnet. The body is a large tiger eye cabochon, and the surface is signed a pattern resembling a scarab (golden bug).
